YNOT Shoot Me: We Flash People
HOUSTON – “Sometimes partnerships make sense, and sometimes they make a lot of sense.”
So said YNOT’s Jay Kopita about the partnership that resulted in YNOTShootMe.com, a new online repository of photos from trade shows, parties, awards ceremonies and other adult industry events. The website debuted March 30.
Buster Brown, a 15-year photography veteran, is the man behind the lens. The geeks at YNOT ensure everything functions well and looks nice. All in all, the venture brought together a powerhouse combination, according to Kopita, chief marketing officer for YNOT Group LLC.
“This team-up was really just perfect for both YNOT and for Buster, and we anticipate YNOTShootMe.com will be the premiere destination for visual coverage of adult industry events,” he said. “I’m a huge fan of Buster’s photography, so it’s fantastic that we have this opportunity to work with him. Some of his pictures will be published on YNOT.com in future months, but the full galleries will always be up on YNOT Shoot Me.”
At launch, the catalog contained thousands of images snapped during Internext Expo, The European Summit Sitges, the AVN Awards and the Adult Entertainment Expo, plus all the after-parties, kickoff events, side trips and behind-the-scenes surprises associated with each. Coverage of this year’s The Phoenix Forum and all future events will be posted as they happen. Big names in the industry, veterans, newcomers, sales and marketing types, business owners, people in the trenches, performers, the random celebrity… They’re all captured for posterity on YNOT Shoot Me.
Oh — and hot babes. Did we mention hot babes? Lots and lots and lots of hot babes.
Viewers may browse images using a lightbox interface that allows playing galleries as slideshows, resizing images and sharing on social media. Navigation through galleries is easy thanks to thumbnails displayed in a filmstrip-like bar at the top of each page.
“It’s a thrill to be involved with the YNOT family, since I’ve always had a really good working relationship with those guys,” said Brown, who owns ComeShootMe.com. “The YNOT team did a great job with the new website, so this will be a huge boost in visibility for my sponsors and my work. It means I can focus more on taking great pictures and leave the website side of things in the very capable hands of YNOT.”
Visit the website. Look around. Kick the tires. And be on your guard at the next industry event, because Brown and YNOT Shoot Me will be there to…well, shoot you!
