YNOT Grand Prix Ready for First Hungarian Race
BUDAPEST – The YNOT Grand Prix, presented by 2000Charge, will roar to life in Hungary for the first time on Sept. 24 as a sanctioned event during The European Summit’s fall trade show. Appropriately, the fifth and final race of the event’s fourth season will provide a rip-roaring kick-off for the summit’s first Hungarian gathering.
The YNOT Grand Prix, now an eagerly anticipated annual circuit of five races in four countries worldwide, got its start in September 2010 at The European Summit’s Barcelona outing. Both the summit and the adult industry’s championship series of kart races have grown since then.
“Our last race in 2013 is the biggest this year,” said LAJ, vice president of parent company YNOT Group LLC. “We’ve maxed out on the number of drivers we can accommodate, but I encourage everyone who’s going to be in Budapest for The European Summit to attend as a spectator. You cannot imagine the energy trackside during these events — lots of networking and great food in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.
“We’re especially fond of the YNOT Grand Prix races that take place in conjunction with The European Summit,” he added. “The shows are very successful. The races debuted at TES three years ago, and summit organizers Andreas and Walter have been very supportive from the start. YNOT is delighted to continue supporting TES in return.”
The Budapest leg, which will take place from 4-7 p.m. at Gokartring, is the only event scheduled during its time period. Offering state-of-the-art equipment and architecture, the indoor karting facility has been a popular Budapest attraction for more than 10 years.
Thanks to the generosity of title sponsor 2000Charge and other sponsors JuicyAds, Dating Factory, FN Cash, WebcamWiz, Kimia and RIVCash, the YNOT Grand Prix — including food, drinks and transportation — is free for drivers and spectators. A shuttle provided by Kink.com will transport participants from the summit’s headquarters at Budapest’s Buddha Bar Hotel to the track beginning at 3:30 p.m.
As always, the top three finishers at the Budapest event, determined by a pulse-pounding “death match,” will be awarded coveted YNOT Grand Prix trophies, bragging rights and the adoration of fans.
