YNOT Grand Prix Retuns to Montreal
MONTREAL – After highly successful stops in Phoenix and Barcelona earlier this year, the popular YNOT Grand Prix championship kart-racing series will return to Montreal for its third appearance at the international trade show Qwebec Expo.
The Montreal event will take place Aug. 6 at Kart-O-Mania. Buses to the venue will depart Qwebec Expo headquarters at the Marriott Chateau Champlain at precisely 4 p.m.
“I love that such a fun event like the YNOT Grand Prix is returning to Montreal,” said Qwebec Expo Chief Executive Officer Michel Plant. “We’ve gotten nothing but positive feedback from our attendees about this event, and the YNOT team really puts a lot of effort into making sure it’s a good time for everyone.”
Those who plan to race in Montreal can look forward to one of the most challenging tracks in the 2015 circuit. Kart-O-Mania is one of Montreal’s premiere kart-racing facilities, boasting modern features like electronic scoreboards and timing equipment that’s capable of recording each driver’s race times down to a fraction of a second. Spectators can cheer for their favorite drivers, network with other attendees, or enjoy entertainment options like pool tables and virtual racing games.
All attendees will be treated to a complimentary buffet and beverages, generously provided by sponsors JuicyAds, DatingFactory, BaDoinkCash, WellHello, FNCash, Dyn.com and iCAN4Consumers.
“If you need transportation to the event, please plan to be on time for the bus at 4 p.m. sharp,” said Jay Kopita, vice president of sales for YNOT and organizer of the YNOT Grand Prix events. “Return transportation will leave Kart-O-Mania at two different times — once for those who need to leave a little early and then again at the end of the races, sometime around 7:30 p.m.”
Now in its sixth successful season, the YNOT Grand Prix international racing series awards trophies to the top three finishers at each event as determined by the best times in an exciting final “death match.” Every year, component events in the U.S. and Europe provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst fierce, but friendly, competition. The final event of the 2015 season will take place Sept. 22 in Prague as a kick-off event for The European Summit.
