YNOT Cam Awards Nomination Process Now Open
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – YNOT Events announced today it has launched a new website for the YNOT Cam Awards and opened the nomination process for the show, which will be hosted by adult star Anna Bell Peaks at the historic Avalon Hollywood on August 7.
Cam fans and industry professionals can suggest their favorite performers for up to three award categories. All suggestions must be received by 11:59pm PDT on Friday, June 14.
While most of the awards from 2018 have returned, a few were phased out to make room for some new categories that were added to expand YNOT’s inclusivity goals and better represent the live cam and clips community, said Connor Young, YNOT CEO and founder of the YNOT Cam Awards.
“It’s important to us that the categories we choose positively represent the amazing and diverse community of performers working in the live cam and clips sectors of the adult industry,” Young said. “We take that responsibility very seriously. Our performers and the platforms they use to broadcast have changed the adult entertainment industry in profound ways, creating an environment of opportunity for all where on-camera performers maintain full artistic control and work in safe and comfortable locations.”
While nominee suggestion period ends June 14, the voting phase will not begin until the following Monday, June 17, when YNOT will announce the five finalists for each award category. Voting, which is open to fans, performers and industry executives, will then run through July 19. Winners will be announced live on stage in Hollywood.
“All models interested in a nomination can find detailed information about the process on the new YNOT Cam Awards website,” Young said. “Since we limit finalists to just five per category our nominees have a very good chance to win, so we are looking for performers who are eager to participate in the process and willing to stay engaged from start to finish. The YNOT Cam Awards is about recognizing models for their accomplishments and their hard work, and it’s also about showing off our amazing community at its best.”
All four Platinum sponsors from the 2018 show – ImLive, Chaturbate, Studio20 and Flirt4Free – are back for the 2019 edition of the YNOT Cam Awards. This year the live broadcast is sponsored by StripChat and will again be free to watch for cam fans and industry all over the world. There will be a live broadcast of the Red Carpet on Vine Street followed by VIP dinner, pre-show entertainment, the award show and the after party.
“Models, please know that these sponsors have made it possible for us to produce this night to honor you in Hollywood,” said Jay Kopita, co-owner of YNOT. “Not all companies invest back in the community, but the ones who do definitely deserve credit for caring about performers and taking a proactive role in expanding the cam and clips market for everyone.”
The 2019 YNOT Cam Awards will be preceded by YNOT’s all new #Cammunity cam model summit, which is happening at the W Hollywood Hotel, just yards away from The Avalon Hollywood where the YNOT Cam Awards will take place. Models and performers interested in attending #Cammunity can register for free for a limited time at cammunity.ynotcam.com. The event is also open to industry executives who work in the adult interactive space.
