YNOT Announces Updates to Message Boards
BURBANK, CA – YNOT Network announced today policy changes concerning its YNOT.com adult webmaster message boards. Effective immediately, YNOT has updated the rules that govern its General Board in an effort to make the board friendlier to both industry veterans and newbies alike.“We have traditionally had some of the strictest policies in the industry in terms of what we consider spam,” said Connor Young, President of YNOT Network. “While I think the goal of keeping our message boards professional and on topic was commendable, a side effect was that too many legitimate announcements were being purged. With our new, less restrictive policies in place, we think the YNOT General Message Board will now provide a better place for webmasters to network, interact, and keep their finger on the pulse of the industry.”
While the rules for the new General Board will be greatly relaxed, popular topic boards like “Newbie” and “Legal & Politics” will still be heavily moderated, meaning those webmasters who prefer a more ordered message board experience can still find that on YNOT.
The YNOT chat boards have also undergone some minor technical changes. The YNOT General Board will now show message threads from all of the boards on YNOT, meaning surfers can use the General Board to see all of the topics presently being discussed. Additionally, typing in boards.ynot.com will now take surfers straight to the YNOT General Board, bypassing the home page. Enhancements have also been made to the way the message boards display images, so webmasters who want to share pictures of their latest Web models will now find YNOT’s boards much improved.
“Rick Muenyong founded YNOT as an industry resource, and we want to stay sensitive to the needs of the adult webmasters who use YNOT on a day to day basis,” says Young. “The changes that we made were simple, but they will have a very big impact on the nature of our message boards.”
