XloveCash Offers GO.cam as Age Verification Solution for French Market
Noting that French law “now requires age verification for adult site access,” XloveCash is encouraging the use of GO.cam, a free age verification application developed by the company, which is designed to “meet the specific requirements of the French market.”
“With just a few clicks, you can check the age of the person wishing to access sites that are 18+,” the company said in the announcement. “GO.cam uses your smartphone or computer camera to estimate the user’s age using artificial intelligence.”
The company noted “another key advantage” of GO.cam is the fact the app “doesn’t use any personal data.”
“No risk of hacking or data leakage on the web,” XloveCash said in their announcement. “The system collects no data during the age verification process and keeps no trace of it.”
In the statement, XloveCash also noted that “numerous press articles” have highlighted the reliability of the GO.cam application, linking to a list of recently published articles from a variety of sites and publications.
To try out the GO.cam app, log in to your XloveCash account and go to >> Promotools >> Age verification. Those with questions about the app can reach out to the XloveCash support team via the affiliate program’s contact page.
The announcement comes on the heels of Ofcom, the UK communications regulatory agency, suggesting that AI applications could be part of the age verification process in the UK at some point in the future. (The final guidance for and enforcement of the UK age verification rules is not anticipated until early 2025.)
