XBIZ Berlin to Examine Online Age Verification
LOS ANGELES, CA — XBIZ is pleased to announce an exclusive look at the future of online age verification at the upcoming XBIZ Berlin webmaster conference, presented by TrafficPartner.
Set for Tuesday, Sept. 12, from 3-3:50 p.m. in the venue hotel’s Konferenz I room, AVSecure will present a timely discussion entitled, “Age Verification: A Critical Update.” A must-attend session for those with U.K. traffic, this panel will offer insights into the new Digital Economy Act, how to be compliant with it, and the regulator and its process, explaining how AVSecure’s age verification solution works.
Featuring Stephen Winyard, ICM Registry director and vice president; Rudd Apsey from Telecom2; and Tim Henning of the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP), this session will provide a full overview of the new U.K. law and what it means and how to be compliant.
“AVSecure is an age verification solution that will attract consumers in the masses,” Winyard told XBIZ. “It retains no consumer data and is totally anonymous to use.”
“With exclusive methods of verification that protect identity, we will explain how the technology works, what the consumer will experience and also how beneficial AVSecure will be for the entire industry,” Winyard added. “Costs are very low for using this service as the consumer is verified once and is able to access any site at any time.”
XBIZ Berlin returns to the modern Catalonia Berlin Mitte Hotel on Köpenicker Strasse from Sept. 11-14.
Conveniently located near local attractions such as Alexanderplatz and historical Nikoleiviertel where Berlin’s nightlife and entertainment scene comes to life.
