WoodRocket Nails Toronto Mayor in Porn Parody
By Peter Berton
LAS VEGAS – Taking potshots at the over-the-top misbehavior of Toronto Mayor Rob Ford has become the sport du jour. And why not? With his patently illegal antics involving crack cocaine, drunken rages, rumored sexual overtures to prostitutes and at least one borderline physical assault on a female elected official, Ford is an attractive — and large — target.
It’s little surprise, then, that the naughty minds at WoodRocket.com have nailed the avowedly conservative politician with an online satire. “The Rob Ford Sex Tape – A Parody!” features performer Peter O’Tool as a convincing ringer for the foul-mouthed, XXL-sized mayor. The video takes Ford’s documented fondness for alcohol, crack and sex to extremes, with hilarious results.
“Holy crud,” the faux Ford rants at one point. “All Canadian Netflix has on is the Trailer Park Boys. What kind of example is that for the Canadian people?”
In newsreel after newsreel, of course, Ford comes across as anything but trailer trash and sets an excellent standard for public behavior. (That was tongue-in-cheek.)
At another point in the parody video, someone offers “Ford” crack.
“No way,” the portly politician responds. “I’m not nearly inebriated enough.” After downing a drink, he adds, “All right — I’m ready.”
Being a WoodRocket production, of course the video includes “Ford” having sex with a comely prostitute. The real-life model for the title character has been accused of dallying with hookers, but although the real Ford repeatedly has admitted and apologized for other flagrant hijinks, he has denied sexual allegations. (Give him time; he’ll come around.)
Most of the half-hour parody video features XXX action, but according to WoodRocket, O’Tool’s tool was portrayed by a … ahem … stunt double.
“The Rob Ford Sex Tape – A Parody!” was written and directed by Lee Roy Myers, the co-owner of WoodRocket and a Canadian. Myers also has produced XXX parodies of Seinfeld and Cheers.
At press time, 92 percent of viewers had given the parody a thumbs-up vote — which may be the best news the troubled mayor, who faces a re-election bid in 2014, has received all year.
