Wicked Steps Up with New Sponsorship of the FSC
CANOGA PARK, CA – The Free Speech Coalition, the trade organization for the adult entertainment industry, announced new financial support today from one of the giants of adult video. Wicked Pictures has agreed to become an FSC Silver Premium Sponsor, the company’s latest show of support for the organization that looks after the interests of the entire adult industry. That means more funds for the FSC – funds it says will go towards day-to-day operations, and towards the organization’s fresh challenges to 18 U.S.C. 2257.
“FSC would like to thank Steve Orenstein and everyone at Wicked for their support and participation,” said Joanne Cachapero, FSC Membership Director. “They are a long-standing member of FSC, and whenever we have hosted an event or needed anything, the company has gone above and beyond to provide us with their time, use of their facilities, giveaways and whatever else they can do to help. Without our members, we would not be able to continue to do good work on behalf of the adult industry.”
Good work of course is dependent on good funding, and Cachapero pointed out that the expense of fighting 2257 makes Wicked’s support an especially welcome development.
“Especially right now, when we have recently filed a case against the federal government challenging 2257 regulations, as well as becoming proactive in the areas of anti-piracy and workplace safety, support is much needed,” Cachapero said. “We appreciate Wicked’s pledge of support, and the continued efforts of all FSC members.”
Wicked’s sponsorship means FSC members will be hearing a lot about Wicked Pictures from FSC publications and at FSC events.
