LOS ANGELES – Seminars, socials, performances and shopping will help BDSM devotees and the curious get the most from the lifestyle when the 10th annual DomCon LA opens Thursday night at the Hilton LAX. Founded and executive-produced by Mistress Cyan, the professional and lifestyle convention will run through Sunday and is open to the public.

For the lifestyle BDSM crowd, there will be a meet and greet social on Thursday evening, followed by three days of intense adult festivities. The exhibitors hall opens on Friday as leather and bondage crafters show of their latest pervy creations.

Seminars also begin Friday, sponsored by FetishMovies.com. On the schedule for the lifestyle contingent are “Sex Magick and BDSM” by Selina Minx, “Q&A with Ken Marcus,” “Wrestling 101” with Lil Bit, “Fire Play” by Orpehus Black and “CBT and Chastity Devices for Men” by Mistress Ravensong. A special seminar series for professional dominants, switches and submissives includes “Health Insurance for the BDSM Professional,” “Your Business is the IRS’ Business” and “Disinfection and Sterilization.”

DomCon’s notorious Fetish Ball, sponsored by January Seraph, is set to take place Saturday, along with a fashion show from Hillary’s Vanity and performances by Hudsy Hawn, Jewel Marceau and many others.

Mistress Ellen, Domina Snow, Maitresse Renee and Goddess Sativa will serve as mistresses of ceremonies during the conference. Among the special guests of honor expected are adult performers Ashley Renee and Julie Simone.
