MIAMI – After spending most of her adult life fighting for “truth, justice and the American way” in a literal sense, Natalia Maldonado, known in her hometown of New York City as “the Wellness Warrior,” has turned her superpowers to fighting for “love, orgasms and freedom.”

HiPleasures, maker of Sugar Cum, has hired Maldonado to consult with staff, retailers and consumers about how to integrate supplements into their normal health regimen in order to improve their lives beyond the bedroom.

Maldonado is a Bronx native who served in the U.S. Air Force, and then spent seven years as New York Police Department officer. After leaving the force, she worked as a personal trainer at New York Health & Racquet Club and New York Sports Club. She’s a certified health coach, Bikram yoga teacher, Zumba instructor, motivational speaker and a brand ambassador for Oakley women’s sunglasses.

“I want to help Brittani [Feinberg, chief executive officer for HiPleasures] on her mission when it comes to normalizing the conversation of sex,” Maldonado said. “I want people to confidently express their needs or desires in the bedroom. How many relationships and marriages can be saved by helping people put their ego aside, so they can connect with their partner and feel passion?

“I want to help couples move together and communicate, so they can keep the fire and passion in the relationship and expose any issues or miscommunication early enough” to do something about the underlying issues, she continued. “The ultimate goal is to help people be emotionally, physically, mentally and sexually fit.”
