Today WeCamgirls, the community for cammodels, announced the achievement of a new milestone. In the last 7 years WeCamgirls has been growing at a steady pace and with welcoming her 20,000th member a new landmark has been reached.

Since the site was founded in 2012 the community has been growing and thriving. Everyday more models sign up to discuss, share or simply chitchat. From Twitter marketing to enhancing your earnings and from profile templates to clothing, no subject stays untouched.

“WeCamgirls has been one of our most fun projects.” said Rutger, one of the founders, programmer and afro dandy. “The enthusiasm and love we receive from our members for building this site has been very rewarding. We are proud that we can help models by providing a great platform and a safe place that they can call their home.”

The community has not gone unnoticed and is well respected within the webcam business. They have been recognised by the industry and received multiple awards from best online community to best media platform.

“Yes” Rutger continues. “The first award we won a few years back was of course the most special one. It was just amazing. We didn’t know that we could have such an impact, but it turned out to be just the start of something greater. Since then we quadrupled in size, and with the help of new and seasoned models, we were able to create something unique. We listen to our members before we implement new features and because we develop everything in-house, we have a lot of room where we can manoeuver. Models have and always will be our main focus point. The models are WeCamgirls.”
