Romania– A group of Romanian webcam studios are excited to announce Webcamming.ro, a collective of professional organizations united in their efforts to clean up the image of the industry and build a professional “how to” system.

Although the cam industry has been around for years, the professional cam studio business is quite new and without any clear rules or guidance. Consequently, each studio organization operates independently, defining their own business practices. This includes recruitment process and marketing. This silo effect has led to inconsistent, unfair and occasionally even illegal conduct.

Webcamming.ro is consequently proposing a fair game with clear rules for studios and models, thereby “cleaning” the industry’s name and image.

Three companies started the Webcamming.ro initiative: Studio20, ACM Studio and Kendra Studio. Now, ten companies – the founding studios along with Smart Chat Studio, OK Studio, NightProwl Studio, Live Studio, Global Model Studios, Chat Live and Bsmart Studio – in 30 locations representing more than 600 cam models have combined forces via the professional organization.

“Any studio has strong points and weak points. Together we can grow the strong points and eliminate the weak points. The level of quality in the cam business is growing, and together as a team we can raise the bar and innovate while keeping also a fairness in relationships with partners and competitors alike,” explained Razvan Vasilescu, CEO & Founder SmartChat Studio.

“Power in diversity” is the group’s motto — meaning that, even though each studio has a different way of conducting business, they’ve gathered together in pursuit of similar goals.

“[Webcamming.ro] is not meant to be the ‘bullies’ or the ‘cool kids’ from cam high school, but teachers and students in the same time,” explained Studio20’s CEO Mugur Frunzetti.

“There are things that we can teach each other and that we can learn from each other, so we’re open to new studios and models joining our group. We have a strict business etiquette code that’s very thoroughly expressed on our platform. We’re raising the bar, setting trends and working together. The goal — by having clean and clear rules and by having everyone working together and not against each other – is to have happy models, high earnings and a strong united voice. This is bringing #wesucceedtogether to the next level,” Frunzetti added.

Webcamming.ro is interested in sharing information with all parts of the studio cam community.

“We are ready to provide extensive training and coaching to our support teams, to our models and to our management, combining experience from all ten companies into added value for all of us,” said Alexandru Gheorghe, founder of NightProwl Studio and AW Summit. “We are ready to help each other with knowledge and advice, but also to stand together and act as one in our business partnerships.”

The group’s efforts will ideally boost morale and foster a positive environment within webcam studios overall.
