Webcam Performer to Marry Customer
YNOT – Trixie Taylor [almost certainly not her real name] may not have been looking for love in the adult entertainment industry, but it found her anyway. The SCLiveCams.com performer announced this week that she’s leaving the business to pursue matrimonial bliss … with one of her frequent customers.
“Trixie is actually a Southern Charms girl who’s been incredibly popular on LiveCamNetwork.com via our software’s MBase shared-performer function,” said Mark Prince, owner of LiveCamNetwork parent company 2Much.net. “It’s one of the risks of the so-called business. In Webdreams [a 2005 docu-drama series in which Prince was featured], one of our models fell in love with a user and ran off to be married, which she still is today.
“In fact, so far [webcam performers who made matches online] have had the best relationships and stable marriages of many people I know,” he added.
Taylor is not the first LCN model to find a life-mate on the other end of a webcam connection.
“It’s a natural occurrence,” said studio manager Brookelynne Briar. “The best chat girls are honest, up-front, basically projecting an amplified version of themselves, and webcam chat is all about interactivity, communication. If kindred souls come across each other even while it’s supposed to be a business transaction, ultimately how can they resist one another?
“That’s one way to lose a valuable performer,” Briar added. “But we can only wish them well and future happiness forever.”
Taylor announced her good news to friends and network administrators via the LiveCamNetwork Forum.
“After a year of flying back and forth to San Francisco [and] Vegas … we are going to spend the rest of our lives together,” she posted. “We both thank you, Mark [Prince], for bringing us together. We never knew this kind of love existed, and finding it in such a crazy way is so surreal.”
Prince remains circumspect about the matter.
“Sometimes, love happens in porn,” he said.
