Webcam Fan Clubs Connect Models and Fans
YNOT – Flirt4Free.com has unveiled a new perk that allows models to integrate their own domain names with their presence on the webcam network.
Called Performer Fan Clubs, the program provides models with an easy-to-use interface that assists them in transferring a domain they already own or purchasing a new one. The interface then walks the performers through the process of creating a personalized website that stands alone but also is part of the Flirt4Free experience.
Models retain complete control over their intellectual property and brand, according to a spokesperson for the webcam company. In addition, they earn revenue share from their Flirt4Free performances.
“Flirt4Free has the most talented models, and we are always looking for creative new ways to provide even more value for our fans and performers,” said Jamie Rodriguez, broadcast manager for parent company VS Media Inc. “Fan clubs are the next step in the personalized model-fan relationship.
“Now models can have their own website, complete with a unique domain name and custom design, set up in a matter of minutes, with all of the backend technical work handled by our experienced webcam team,” Rodriguez continued. “We are eager to see the many ways fans and their favorite performers will put the new Performer Fan Club sites to use, and we look forward to even more innovative features being added based on the feedback from our fans, models and traffic partners.”
Rodriguez said the fan sites in the network benefit from specialized retention tools designed to help performers generate a following, and consequently, more income. Members of Flirt4Free fan clubs pay a membership fee starting at $20 per month, but the fee is paid directly to the models. Fan club members receive a 5-percent discounts on shows and extra viewing credits for every month they remain a member.
In addition, models may create personalized content packages that are available to members only. Even when they’re off-camera, some models interact with their fans to create virtual relationships, and the Performer Fan Clubs system provides several ways for models to strengthen those relationships, Rodriguez said.
