Webcam Company Launches Studio
LAS VEGAS – A live-cam network that made its adult-industry bones by paying amateur and professional performers a 70-percent revenue share and providing a platform for individuals to sell recorded videos of live chats has launched a production studio.
Nookie Productions, which employs some of the performers featured at parent company NookieChat, debuted its inaugural title last week. The scripted film Glamour Gone Bad, reportedly based on real events, stars Vanessa Veracruz, Brandi Aniston and Elle Alexandra in a three-scene tale of big business in the adult modeling game.
HotMovies.com acquired exclusive video-on-demand rights to all Nookie titles, a spokesperson for the studio said. Glamour Gone Bad will premier on the site during the week of April 28.
“NookieChat sees the future, and they realize VOD is the way to go,” HotMovies’ Danny C. said. “We are excited to have them as a new studio and expect great things from them. And, of course, we’re honored they offered us exclusivity.”
The studio expects to release its second title in May. The feature is a five-scene, somewhat dark parody of Alice in Wonderland. Brandi Aniston stars.
