Wasteland Launches Pornbub Channel
YNOT – Wasteland.com, one of the web’s oldest and most respected BDSM sites, has launched a channel on Manwin-owned tube site Pornhub.com. The deal is the latest to emerge from the Pornhub Content Partner Channel Program.
According to its owner, “the Pornhub CPP strives to promote and showcase the [adult] industry’s top producers, all the while helping them to optimize their sales potential on the web.”
“We are excited to welcome Wasteland Studios to the channel club and are anxious to continuously work closely with them to grow their brand throughout our network,” said Chris Smith, affiliate manager for the Pornhub CPP.
Wasteland founder and producer Colin Rowntree said he also is excited by the agreement.
“We are delighted to expand our content partnership involvement with Pornhub to having our own channel where their viewers can further their awareness of the unique and compelling quality of the Wasteland brand,” he said. “We’ve been successfully involved with [Pornhub’s] regular studio content partner program for the past two years, and this addition of becoming a featured channel is just great for our exposure and marketing campaigns.”
Wasteland.com has been featured in programs broadcast by HBO and the BBC as well as in Time magazine and on Wired.com. The site has won numerous awards, including AVN’s Best Fetish Site (two consecutive years) and Best Educational Site, XBIZ’s Excellence in Alternative Erotica and Best Specialty Site of the Year and the Cybernet People’s Choice Award.
Rowntree is a recipient of the Free Speech Coalition’s Leadership Award and was inducted into the AVN Hall of Fame Founders Division in 2011.
“Wasteland has been producing industry-leading BDSM and fetish content for almost 20 years and is very deserving of its own spotlight, for which it will thrive,” Smith said.
