WAE Newbies Seminar Shines
MONTREAL, CANADA – Reporting for YNOT North, Braincash_Pat attended the newbie seminar and provided YNOT with his perspective on the event.
For my first seminar in the biz I was glad to start with one addressed specifically to those of us who have just gotten started. Thankfully the panel was composed of experienced webmasters who were obviously all newbies in their own time, but also represented a variety of business structure and experiences.Representing the seminar sponsor, moderator Eric Senecal from GammaCash.com presented Scott from SleazyDream, Steve from Lightspeedcash.com, Philip from AdultProfitNetwork.com and Raffi from AdultLounge.com.
They started by giving some sound beginners advice to the attendees: Find your unique idea, learn, and market what you know.
Panelists agreed that the current wave for new webmasters to catch is micro-niche. As Philip pointed out, surfers are getting wiser and take efforts to find exactly what they are looking for. That makes it easier for newbies to target very specific fetishes or use a unique theme and still get some traffic going.
As anyone in this business learns early on: traffic is gold. That’s why the panelists urged newbies to learn where to get it. Scott mentioned that unlike any other business, adult webmasters need to look for and create good relationships with business partners. Developing new relationships is an essential key to increasing traffic. “Pick up the phone” added Philip, emphasizing that personal connections are important.
They ended the seminar by sharing personal experiences that had proven costly to them and a few tips and tricks that helped make them successful. Overall, I found it was a valuable learning experience for anyone who attended as a fresh webmaster.
