Verotel’s New QuickCharge Facilitates Fast, Easy Payments
YNOT – High-risk payment service provider Verotel has launched a new service aimed at easing interactions between the adult entertainment industry and consumers. Revealed Monday during the Internext Expo adult industry trade show, QuickCharge allows customers to pay for online entertainment quickly and easily without having to enter all their personal details each time.Online entertainment websites, particularly ones offering adult content, historically have employed a subscription-based model that requires users to enter personal information one time. After that, recurring billing systems automatically pick up the customer’s data from his previous authorizations. With pay-per-view models becoming more popular with publishers and end-users, however, the traditional “join form” becomes cumbersome when consumers must re-enter all their data each time they want to watch a minutes-long video.
QuickCharge addresses that issue by allowing consumers to log in to one central account and purchase views or credits quickly and safely.
Certified by both VISA and MasterCard and fully compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Verotel acts as a trusted intermediary between webmasters, banks and internet users. All of a customer’s personal and financial information is stored in secure databases that are inaccessible to anyone or anything but the consumer who owns the info.
Besides credit cards, QuickCharge also includes a range of alternative billing solutions. Only registered users can access their QuickCharge accounts by typing in an email address and the corresponding password. One master account allows each user to pay effortlessly at any website that uses Verotel as a billing services provider.
“The new QuickCharge system allows us to process transactions easier, more efficiently and faster,” said Verotel Vice President of Business Development Cherryl van der Graaf. “It’s a true win-win situation for all parties. Internet users trust our brand and know that we never provide their data to others. And merchants will process more transactions because it’s very easy for a user to process a new transaction with their Verotel QuickCharge account.”
Jeroen Buitenhart, a technical analyst for Verotel, pointed out that the QuickCharge system is easy for webmasters to implement.
“Verotel QuickCharge can be added seamlessly to all online entertainment websites, even if the website processes with another [internet payment service provider],” he said. “We have been installing our payment services at no charge for our customers since 1997. We only charge a transaction percentage whenever a transaction occurs.
“I sincerely believe in QuickCharge. It will provide a high conversion factor for all our existing and future customers.”
