Vendo’s 2019 Goal: Be Industry’s “Most Customer-Centric Organization”
Following the company’s year-end review, IPSP payment processor Vendo emerged with a “singular focus,” according to Vendo co-founder Mitch Platt.
“We have one main objective for 2019,” Platt said in a statement released Tuesday. “We want to be the most Customer-Centric organization in the industry.”
The focus on customers is a way to help clients deal with the fact that “billing can be confusing,” Platt suggested.
“Dealing with billers and banks can be like being lost in a maze,” Platt said. “But it doesn’t have to be that way.”
Platt said that Vendo endeavors to supply its customers with “actionable intelligence.”
“These are new tools that give customers the information they need to take billing decisions with confidence,” Platt added. “We’re excited about using our platform to help our clients compete. It has always been about our clients, but in 2019 even more so.”
To help deliver on its promise of enhanced customer focus, Platt said Vendo is investing and adding new team members to grow customer satisfaction, banking, technology, and conversion. The company is also “investing heavily in tools that will transform businesses and banking,” according to the statement.
By upgrading the tools available to customers and increasing the company’s “banking footprint,” Vendo is concentrating on delivering “superior customer satisfaction” and providing a platform that will “help their clients take the right decisions to grow their businesses.”
Roy Sabbag, who came aboard as Vendo’s VP of Marketing around the middle of 2018, said he was immediately struck by the competence and dedication of the company’s core team.
“I joined Vendo last year, as part of an increase in hiring of about 15%,” Sabbag said. “I came with 13 years of experience working with billers as a paysite operator. Since I joined, I’ve been incredibly impressed with the quality of the team and services at Vendo. I simply wasn’t aware of everything they were doing – probably most people aren’t. I look forward to sharing these valuable tools with the industry in 2019.”
