CHICAGO – An 18-month-old website that aims to connect adult models and their fans in financially rewarding ways has rolled out a new program to pay models when they tweet videos.

The program revolves around proprietary apps designed for iPhone and mobile devices that use the Android operating system. To profit from the program, models must create an account at MyPornProfile.com, download the appropriate app and record videos using the app’s interface. Models are paid for every video uploaded, plus a commission for every video sold.

Commissions earn a flat 60 percent of revenue, but upload payouts are based on a sliding scale defined by the model’s number of Twitter followers. Models with 5,000-75,000 followers receive $5 per video upload; models with more than 200,000 followers receive $15 per video upload.

“This is a golden opportunity for everyone from porn stars to amateurs to add an additional revenue stream with very little effort,” said MyPornProfile’s owner, Sam Saturn. “With the continued rise of smartphones to take pictures, it only makes sense that the next stage will be using cell phones to record videos. Our iPhone and Android apps have been hugely popular, and people are posting tons of videos.
