Tubes Merge; Content to Auto-Publish on Four Sites
BARCELONA – A fourth adult tube site has joined a group headlined by PornTube, giving content providers access to a potential audience of nearly 5 million daily viewers, according to a statement the team behind the sites released Wednesday.
PornerBros, formerly owned by Gamma Entertainment, joined PornTube and its satellites 4Tube and FUX July 1. Content submitted to one automatically will appear on all four, the statement noted. Content owners and webmasters who were sending traffic to PornerBros should see no disruption to their programs, as all accounts were migrated to the new platform. Stats may be checked at Webmasters.PornerBros.com.
Prior to the acquisition, PornerBros underwent a redesign to make the tube mobile-compatible. The volume of consumer traffic coming from mobile devices has increased over the past 12 months, according to the statement.
“We are very excited to finally launch our webmaster program,” said PornTube’s Steve Matthyssen. “We have been working on it for the last few months and were about to launch it for PornTube, 4Tube and FUX when Gamma approached us with the opportunity to acquire PornerBros, so [the webmaster program] was put on hold. We will soon be relaunching the other three websites’ webmaster programs onto this new system, but as for now it’s just available on PornerBros.
“As part of the acquisition, we have also signed an exclusive deal with ExoClick for all the mobile and desktop inventory on the site,” he added. “We felt it was the right move to count on one of the leading adult ad networks whilst we focus on the integration and further growth of the site.”
