Tube Site Offers David Schwimmer $1M To Star In ‘Friends’ Parody
Tube site YouPorn has approached actor David Schwimmer with an offer to star in a parody of his claim-to-fame program “Friends” via the following letter, as reported by Dankanator.com:
“We at YouPorn, like so many others, miss that time you awkwardly proved to Rachel and Joey that you were ‘fine!’” Or that time you tried to teach Rachel and Phoebe about the state of total awareness… Unagi!
To make everyone’s dreams come true, we want to bring those talents back to the screen and are offering you a $1 million contract to star in your very own ‘Friends’ porn parody. We know it’s not the ‘silver screen,’ but we already have a Rachel on board and think it’s the perfect PIVOT in your career. We’ll even let you wear those leather pants again! We’re looking forward to hearing from you regarding our offer, and sincerely hope we can work together on this soon. P.S. Hope they catch that guy! All the best, The YouPorn team.”
The guy the letter is referencing – the one YouPorn hopes gets caught – actually has been apprehended.
In an odd yet that-makes-clickbait-sense turn, apparently there’s been a Schwimmer lookalike making the rounds lately in the U.K. – stealing shit!
Per coverage via FOX News, a British theft suspect went viral on social media due to his resemblance to “Friends” star Schwimmer las month. The 36-year-old suspect was arrested Monday November 12 and not immediately identified.
Authorities thanked everyone involved in the apprehension, including Schwimmer.
Following the appeal we posted looking for a man who resembles a well-known actor, we now have an update. Thanks to our colleagues @MetPoliceUK, a 36-year-old man was arrested in Southall last night on suspicion of theft. Thanks for the support, especially @DavidSchwimmer! pic.twitter.com/sUy5XyS4im

A photo of the alleged thief became a social media sensation due to the man’s resemblance to the actor. The suspect was wanted for stealing a jacket, a wallet and a cell phone from a restaurant.
Officers circulated a surveillance photo showing the suspect buying a case of beer, and Schwimmer responded with his own case of beer acquisition:
Officers, I swear it wasn't me.
As you can see, I was in New York.
To the hardworking Blackpool Police, good luck with the investigation.#itwasntme pic.twitter.com/EDFF9dZoYR— schwim (@DavidSchwimmer) October 24, 2018
Can’t say the guy’s not cheeky, am I right?!
Realistically though, I am not sure why YouPorn didn’t extend their offer to the suspected theif. I’m guessing he needs the money more than Schwimmer does.
