It’s a Bird! It’s a Plane! It’s TS Porn Silliness!
MIAMI – Only in adult entertainment could a short, skinny guy with a perpetually goofy look on his face become a superhero.
That is both the blessing and the curse of SuperRamon.com. While the site can lay undisputed claim to its niche, one has to wonder who else would enter the race voluntarily.
The owner and star admit the project grew out of a crazy idea.
“The whole Super Ramon concept actually started while we were shooting content in Brazil and completely by accident,” said veteran producer-director Josh Stone, co-owner of Trans500, the studio that brought Super Ramon to life. “Ramon and I were just sitting around brainstorming, trying to be creative and come up with new ideas that would make our content really stand out, and we decided to do a scene with Ramon as a superhero.”
They had so much fun with the silliness, they decided to make the act a regular part of the Trans500 lineup.
“We felt [the scene] went over very well, so we decided to run with it and shoot another one with that same superhero concept,” Stone said. “The scenes were very high rated on our membership site, and from there Super Ramon was born.
“The series became an instant hit for us on the Trans500 website as well as DVDs, so we felt it only made sense to create the official Super Ramon website,” he added.
Ramon, who has been performing for more than 10 years, is the studio’s male contract talent. As the face of the Trans500 brand, Ramon has traveled all over the world to shoot with some of the most popular transsexual performers in the business. He also played a role in discovering new talent who have risen to fame since their debut on one of the Trans500 sites.
Evidently, silly ideas and dopey expressions can be profitable.
The entire Trans500 network is represented by the TransDollars affiliate program, which pays a 50-percent recurring revenue share.
