LIMASSOL, Cyprus –TrafficStars, a self-serve, real-time bidding ad network, announced today it has appointed Peter Rabenseifner as Chief Executive Officer, effective October 1. Rabenseifner, who for the last year has served as the company’s Managing Director, will now “oversee the day-to-day leadership of the company,” according to a statement released by the company Tuesday morning.

“Peter’s expertise and reputation within this industry make him the perfect fit for this position,” said Geoffrey Bonnechère, co-founder and departing CEO of TrafficStars. “Over the past year, Peter has effectively led the TrafficStars business by developing long-term strategies, restructuring all departments and innovating new technologies. I am confident that Peter is the right person to take over TrafficStars.”

In the statement announcing him as the company’s new CEO, TrafficStars hailed Rabenseifner’ “deep experience in leading successful teams, developing and overseeing departmental strategies and building up an extensive client base in the industry.”

Rabenseifner said he “cannot imagine a more exciting time to be managing TrafficStars.”

“After leading the company for the past year in the role of Managing Director, I am certain that with the talented team we have in place and the industry-leading technology we have developed, TrafficStars will continue to grow, and TrafficStars will continue to thrive,” Rabenseifner added. “I am thrilled to bring in my experience and knowledge to lead TrafficStars to the next step of its evolution.”

Bonnechère served as TrafficStars CEO for 4 years and grew the company from a startup into its current position as one of the largest ad networks in the adult industry. According to the company’s statement, Bonnechère “will remain at hand for strategies and ideas to the management of TrafficStars.”
