TPF Offers Out-of-the-ordinary Educational Sessions
YNOT – The educational schedule for The Phoenix Forum’s 2013 conference offers a smattering of the expected industry standbys intermixed with new sessions attendees may not find anywhere else.
This year’s session topics, arranged in both commonplace seminars and intriguing interactive labs, embrace not only the basics of starting and maintaining an online adult entertainment business, but also address emerging technologies. Concurrent tracks allow beginners and old pros to learn alongside their peers, mostly eliminating concerns that sessions will be either too advanced or too remedial for any given attendee.
The Fundamentals track offers intro-level presentations about business, gay business, consumer support, legal issues, site and device optimization, cloud computing and online delivery, navigating the dating-site map and traffic strategies. The Honor Courses track includes how to leverage mainstream social media, international markets, speed networking, expanding revenue streams, industry ethics, distinguishing “real” from “hype” and making gay boutique content stand out.
More information about the sessions may be found here.
“With a philosophy of offering sessions designed around what is affecting the greater online business community, our goal remains to provide avenues for general discussion, topical learning and open dialogue,” the TPF website notes. “We have spent a lot of time talking with and listening to our industry peers to hear what they would like from the show, and [we] ended up with some great ideas.
“Regardless of the level of session or the type, there will always be plenty of opportunities for questions from our attendees and interaction with the experts in the room.”
The Phoenix Forum 2013 will take place April 4-7 at the Tempe Mission Palms Hotel in Tempe, Ariz. More information is available on ThePhoenixForum.com.
