TopBucks to Pay 75% Revshare on May 11
YNOT – “Virtual sex” takes on a whole new attitude at PinkVisualGames, the interactive 3D sex simulation experience launched earlier this year by adult studio Pink Visual.
To prove just how awe-inspiring PVG can be, affiliate program TopBucks, a division of Pink Visual, is offering a special payout Friday, May 11: Affiliates will receive a 75-percent bonus revenue share on all new customer sales at PinkVisualGames.com.
“The performance of PinkVisualGames.com has been very impressive,” said Pink Visual Sales Director Kristin Wynters. “What we’ve seen is that the users who go beyond playing the free version tend to get hooked and make quite a few purchase upgrades, which translates to a nice payout over time for our webmasters.”
One factor contributing to end-user enjoyment is the game’s uncommon engine, which enables players not only to create their own sex-sim fantasies, but also to control just about every facet of the 3D experience. From the appearance of the “performers” to their clothing, sexual positions, camera angles and locations, end-users are in charge. As they progress in the game, players may unlock or purchase new locations and features, further expanding the possibilities. In turn, the expandability yields extremely high replay value, Wynters said.
Replay value is a crucial metric from an affiliate’s perspective, as affiliate payouts hinge on users upgrading from the game’s free version and continuing to make in-game purchases. Users can download and play a limited version of the game for free, but “the real fun doesn’t start until you upgrade,” Wynters said.
“I’m not that much of a gamer, really, but while I was testing the game and getting familiar with it for marketing purposes, I have to admit I got a little bit hooked on it, myself,” she continued. “There’s so much you can do with it. Once you start, it’s hard to walk away.”
The number of repeat upgrade purchases attests the game’s “stickiness.” According to Wynters, the current average purchase for players exceeds $50.
“We had some doubts initially about how well the game would do, but we’ve been amazed by how engaged the players become,” she said. “We’ve seen some very creative scenarios in the user-created videos. Sometimes I think we’re having as much fun watching what our customers come up with as they are having in creating the scenes in the first place.”
The game currently supports only PCs using the Windows operating system, so TopBucks recommends that webmasters specifically target Windows users in their promotions.
“We have some great ads put together for PinkVisualGames, with a click-through ratio that is far better than the industry average for banner ads,” Wynters said. “I think it speaks to the fact that surfers are hungry for something different — and that the crossover between the video-gaming market and the porn market is very high, which comes as no surprise.”
