TopBucks Mobile Whitepaper Gives Glimpse at Inside-the-Industry Data
YNOT – A whitepaper published Friday reveals a fascinating glimpse into data webmasters can use to plan and implement their own mobile initiatives in the adult entertainment space. Created by affiliate program TopBucks Mobile, the data contained in the report offers insight into adult and general market forces, prognostication about trends and conclusions regarding future growth potential.According to TopBucks Marketing Director Lea Busick, the whitepaper’s figures and conclusions are based on proprietary data gathered from parent company Pink Visual’s network of mobile sites and selected reliable (though anonymous) third-party sources.
“The whitepaper is an extension of the information we’ve been providing through our webinars and mobile workshops at industry trade shows,” Busick said. “It combines information we obtained from third-party sources with data we have collected through our own network of sites and provides a very solid overview of the current state of the market, plus some important trends that adult webmasters will want to keep an eye on in the months ahead.”
Compiled by Pink Visual President Allison Vivas and Director of Public Relations Quentin Boyer, the report includes data on device and browsing market share, mobile consumer purchase habits and projections for the growth of the market through the end of 2010 and beyond. Some of the key conclusions include:
- Mobile browsing market share is a far more significant metric than device sales market share.
- The Android operating system will expand tremendously in market share during 2010.
- The mobile market for adult entertainment is already substantial, and it’s growing rapidly.
According to Busick, “One of our goals with this white paper, as well as with the workshops we’ve been doing, is simply to communicate that the adult mobile market is real, and it is growing quickly. I think a lot of webmasters are still a little skeptical about that point, because they’ve been hearing for years that ‘mobile is coming,’ but it never seemed to arrive. Hopefully, some of the hard data and analysis we’ve put on the table will convince webmasters that there’s a real opportunity to make money here, and we’ll see more people putting a serious effort into mobile marketing and promotion.”
Boyer said the report was compiled with an eye for providing webmasters with legitimate information — not just another marketing pitch.
“Over the years, TopBucks has always tried to provide our affiliates with helpful information and hands-on assistance in navigating the market,” he told YNOT. “It only makes sense to do this, because our success is dependent on the success of our webmasters. The mobile whitepaper and the workshops and webinars we’ve done are simply an expression of that philosophy.
“Reading the white paper isn’t going to make you into an instant expert on mobile porn, but it provides context for you to refer back to and food for thought to consider when creating mobile sites and mobile marketing campaigns of your own,” he added.
For the time being, the report is only available within the affiliate area of TopBucks Mobile. Non-affiliates interested in obtaining a copy may contact Boyer by email.
