Following the success of Back To Basics videos, Tickle.life introduces a podcast to fight the taboos around sexual health and pleasure. Here, the focus is on educating the listeners about basic sex ed. Lulu and Laura believe, “The Back to Basics podcast aims to help people who haven’t received comprehensive sex education. We want to provide resources and share our own experiences to make learning about sex fun and lighthearted. We hope that our listeners enjoy our different perspectives when talking about the topics and we encourage people to bring us a lot of questions to answer in future episodes!”
The Sex Ed Speakeasy podcast is created to help people understand how sexuality has been perceived throughout history, with a dash of humor and a special episode cocktail on the side. The show is hosted by Tickle.Life’s Head of Production, Steven Russell, and COO, Angel Russell. Talking about the podcast, Steve said, “Angel and I have been creating sex ed media together for over 5 years, and all our content has been just that: education which we make entertaining. Sex Ed Speakeasy is a place where we can let our hair down and have fun first, while hopefully teaching something at the same time. We have a really good time with it and I think our listeners do too.”
As the next chapter of Tickle.Life podcast, guests will be sharing their first-time stories. Talking about Sex: Tell Me Your Story has been launched to have real, raw, and entertaining conversations when it comes to sex, relationship, and dating. Board- Certified sex educator, Linnea Marie said, “I am so honored to be a part of the Tickle.life Podcast Talking about Sex: Tell Me Your Story. I can’t wait to hear and discuss real-life stories that also double as learning lessons. Learning through real experiences can help our listeners so much in all aspects of sex and sexuality! A great sex life looks different to everyone and is nurtured, it just doesn’t happen, so these podcasts are important. Sex is everywhere, so let’s talk about it!”
Sex educator and Sexpreneur Calandra Balfour said, “There’s one thing I know from my years’ experience as a sex educator: people find it hard to talk about sex. And it is hard to communicate what you want! It takes bravery to be honest with those around you, and sometimes it’s even harder to be honest with yourself. My fantastic guests all share their challenges and celebrations in walking that path of honesty and disclosure.”
Sexual Wellness Startup is about the behind-the-scenes of team learning at Tickle.Life. Once a week, the editorial team is joined by Angel Russell (COO) for planning, education, and deeper-level discussion about relevant sexual wellness topics from around the world. “Building this company has been a process of learning together as a team and sharing that amazing knowledge with the world,” said Russell, when asked about the show. “Putting that together in podcast form gives people a really neat inside look at our process. We’re a large platform, and I hope this humanizes us for folks and reminds listeners that learning is a lifelong journey for all of us.”
