The Rabbit Dons Fresh Fur
MONTREAL, Canada – Over the 11-year span of its prominence on the web, RabbitsReviews.com has received three makeovers. Never has the face of the site’s mascot changed, though…until now.
The most recent overhaul bowed this week, complete with a bottom-to-top update and a new logo design. Now fully responsive to operating systems and screen sizes, RabbitsReviews offers pay-site owners more revenue options through partnerships with RR’s expanding advertising division.
The changes mark a new era for the company, one where mobile is at the forefront and ease of access to information is paramount, according to owner Mantas M. The company employs 20 full-time staff at its Montreal office and listed more than 7,000 adult websites.
Mantas said the redesign was a response to users’ suggestions.
“A year ago we launched a mobile-friendly version of RabbitsReviews,” Mantas said. “It was a quick and dirty solution while our developers were busy with other projects. As our traffic patterns and user expectations evolved, there was more of a sense of urgency to fully overhaul the site.”
Three programmers worked on the project since it began in March. According to lead programmer Charles, the biggest hurdle was mapping out the site’s existing functionality.
“The site is a monster,” he said. “The most interesting thing about the new redesign are the cards. They not only allow users to customize their viewing experience, but based on automated feedback, we’ll be able to change and optimize the layout automatically.”
According to Mantas, the ability to optimize layouts means advertising partners can expect their earnings to grow. RabbitsReviews has partnerships with more than 100 sponsors to monetize their members areas and provides a tool with the ability to filter traffic across thousands of different offers.
Not all the changes to the site were technical.
“As much as I love our original logo, it no longer fit with today’s design standards,” Mantas said. “We went for something flat, two dimensional, less playful, but a look that nevertheless preserved the original feel of a perverted rabbit.”
The site also overhauled its blog platform. The new e-zine will focus on creating content that attracts traffic from across social media platforms.
Pay sites not already listed in the massive database are invited to submit for a review. Sponsors seeking to monetize existing members area traffic may email the director of marketing for more information.
