The Passing of Greg Gregory: Adult Internet Loses a Beloved Veteran
FLORIDA – The adult online community is reeling from the death of one of its favorite photographers, Greg Gregory.According to his assistant, Ernie G., the popular content producer had been under a great deal of pressure prior to what has been determined to have been a fatal heart attack suffered this past week at his home. The 56-year-old South Beach Florida photographer and videographer had quit smoking recently after learning that he had high blood pressure. Gregory also experienced a small heart attack a short time before the Hollywood, Florida Internext convention. Nonetheless, he had attended the event, which proved to be an opportunity for industry friends to unknowingly say goodbye.
Personal remembrances have been posted on his website (www.greg-gregory.com) by friends. An online eulogy page has also been erected by another industry veteran, Colin Rountree, at greg.wasteland.com.
After entering the industry in 1995, Gregory’s work and personality made him a beloved contributor and friend to many. When calls made by Ernie G to Gregory were not returned, he checked his residence on Wednesday and found the photographer’s body on the floor near his computer. Ernie G believes that Gregory was searching for a model who was scheduled to pose the following day.
In addition to shooting for glamour and fashion print publications for 30 years, the philosophical Minnesota native and ex-Barbazon Agency photographer sold his images via his website and was in the process of launching GregGregoryGallerys.com. According to Ernie G, Gregory’s business will most likely continue.
Funeral arrangements are being developed.
