What was the impetus to launch #teakink?

There are some very physical and practical reasons. I’ve stopped taking on real time clients to focus on becoming an AI companion and to develop some TV projects – but these are taking a while; and so, to entertain myself in a more immediately gratifying way I thought, why not do a podcast?!

Whenever I’ve done interviews there are always multiple comments asking if I had one, and I do love to cater to the (supportive) fans. But that said, I think the podcast is an extension of how I approach my work and life in general – I enjoy being able to share more about my world in an effort to demystify it. It fills me with purpose to be able to contribute this way.

It is also a challenging and creative exercise telling stories off-the-cuff like this. The #teakink podcast is totally unscripted.

What do you think listeners will find most compelling about #teakink?

I think the show is different first and foremost because it’s me, and I have quite a unique, international career and perspective. But aside from that it’s very personal and full of day-to-day anecdotes. I haven’t seen such an honest and frank account of the business or the emotional journey of it.

Also, because I’m all alone in a room recording the #teakink podcast I feel free to let loose and listeners get an unfiltered and deep insight into my life. I also have some very unusual and sexually driven meets ridiculously hilarious stories – something that doing this podcast has made me realize! It’s fun to share. I hope that it helps people to understand my world a little more.

The BDSM podcasts that I see seem to be more concentrated on how to practice it and being educational. I just want to have a good time with it.

What inspires you to be vulnerable and share your story?

The people who listen and tell me that it has supported or changed them – to know that I can help from afar amazes me.

Why do you think listeners respond to your podcasts and your work?

The response that I get for my being and work always astound and amuse me.

I believe the feedback is overwhelmingly positive because I am authentic… or maybe I’m really good at not noticing any haters haha. But I think too, that people respond to me because I am simply frank about aspects of humanity that they are hiding or are not yet confident enough to act upon.

Maybe I represent a part of themselves that they want to nurture….
