The Cowgirl, Museum of Sex Partner for Month-Long Exhibit
New York, NY — The Cowgirl, COTR Inc.’s ride-on sex machine, will be featured as part of a month-long exhibit and pop-up shop at New York City’s Museum of Sex. The exhibit runs from Feb. 1st to March 3rd.
The interactive display will explore the history of sex machines — dating back to the mechanical medical devices of the early 20th century and culminating with the development of contemporary high-tech sex machines like The Cowgirl.
A hub for sex-positive locals and tourists from around the globe, the Museum of Sex seeks to preserve and present the history, evolution and cultural significance of human sexuality. Since opening in 2002, the museum has collaborated with world-renown cultural institutions, artists and academics to create exhibitions and interactive programs that explore the best in current scholarship in the arts, sciences and humanities.
With this mission and spirit in mind, visitors will have the opportunity to see and touch The Cowgirl. The museum will have multiple Cowgirl machines on display for demonstration, and attendees are invited to take the reins and experience their functions first-hand.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to view The Cowgirl’s “Guide to Ride” instructional video, directed by jessica drake, as well as a commercial directed by celebrity photographer/filmmaker Deborah Anderson. There will also be multiple photo opps and plenty of Cowgirl hats on hand to capture the fun.
“Our goal with this exhibit is to give people an insight into where sex machines come from and why we created The Cowgirl,” said COTR founder and CEO Alicia Sinclair.
“We will be covering a lot of historical backgrounds and looking at the design and tech elements, as well as giving people the opportunity to touch and feel a product that may not have been as easily accessible to them before,” Sinclair added.
