LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Whatever else might be true about Wrex Oliver’s recently released new parody porn title Step Sisters, I can say one thing without so much as watching a single pixel of it: I’d rather see Gal Ritchie and Aubree Valentine naked than Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, any day.

As noted in the parody’s release announcement, the 2008 film Step Brothers “starred Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly as two aimless, unemployed leeches still living at home who are forced against their will to become roommates when their parents marry.”

“Now, it’s finally here… and no, we’re not talking about ‘The Fucking Catalina Wine Mixer,’ we’re talking about Step Sisters, the Family Strokes kick-off feature, with Gal Ritchie and Aubree Valentine in the spotlight,” the release announcement proclaimed.

And yes, 17 years is maybe kind of a long interim between original and porn parody, but the wait has only increased the anticipation, right?

According to the release announcement, in this adaptation of the original storyline, “spoiled beyond belief (and allergic to an honest day’s work) Gal and Aubree are freeloaders of the highest caliber, but when their stepparents get hitched, these girls will find themselves entangled in a step-sibling rivalry for the ages.”

I’ll admit, I was kind of hoping for a “thrill-a-minute ride” that would keep me on “the edge of my seat,” but I accept that I can’t always have all my favorite promotional cliches at once, so I’ll have to wait for another release to read those in a porn parody context, along with “an emotional tour de force.”

“It’s an all-out war, though they soon find a common enemy in their horny, know-it-all stepbrother,” the announcement adds. “Their new enemy teaches Gal and Aubree that they’re no so different after all – all it took was sharing a cock to become best friends. Alongside Shay Sights and Kelsey Kane, this is one family fucking balls to the wall feature you simply can not miss.”

Isn’t sharing a cock always the answer when there’s conflict? OK, maybe not if it’s a conflict between Hillary Clinton and Monica Lewinsky, but other than that, isn’t it always the answer?

“Step Sisters was such a blast to film,” Gal Ritchie said. “I’m a huge fan of the original film so knowing all the inside jokes and doing our own spin on them was hilarious. Aubree was fab to work alongside of; such great energy. I’m so happy I got to be a part of a fun project.”

The man behind the lens was glowing in his praise of Gal and her costar, as well.

“Working alongside Gal Richie and Aubrey Valentine was an absolute career highlight,” Oliver said. “Their comedic chemistry is undeniable.  Their banter and comic timing had everyone in stitches, bringing laughter and energy to the set.”
