A Talk with Alice Little – A Force to Be Reckoned With
Wondering what the most successful legal sex worker in the nation looks like?
Meet petite (4’8”), all-natural redhead Alice Little.
An icon in the industry, Alice does business in the legal brothel – The Chicken Ranch out of Pahrump, Nevada and is, as reported by Brut the “highest paid sex worker in the country.” Her commitment to intimacy along with top-notch skills and expertise is what keeps her in demand all while laughing in the face of worn-out stereotypes that only big-boobed blondes make it in the business.
Many sex workers would stop there, after all – she’s pretty much at the top of her game. But Alice, with the big smile and heart, is also a passionate advocate for the adult industry.
Working tirelessly to educate, inspire and make real change – Alice founded the Nevada Brothel Association to fight for the rights of women working in bordellos, “Hookers for Healthcare” to put forth policies that benefit sex workers and other stigmatized groups and she promotes her views through television, podcasts, interviews, writing for numerous top publications including HuffPost and Refinery29, and going head-to-head with lawmakers to make sure our voice is heard.

How did you get your start?
I first began my exploration into adult pleasure at 18-. I had the opportunity to work at the front desk of a private BDSM Dungeon in NYC. There, I gained the knowledge and experience that led to my next career advancement- BDSM & Sex Education. I presented at numerous events on safety, consent, sex skills, and gained more insight into the world of sex work.
In 2015, I decided to apply to work within the Nevada Brothel System and have continued to find success in that industry ever since!
You’re a huge advocate for the industry. Do you have any advice on how others in can get involved and support the work you’re doing?
Advocacy starts with the smallest of actions – liking, sharing, and re-tweeting research and articles. This is a great place to begin familiarizing yourself with the world of sex work activism.
Everyone has a unique and important perspective on the industry that is worth sharing, as no two people have the same lived experience! As you grow within the industry and find your voice and identity, you can find ways to infuse activism into your brand.
Why do you believe sex work is important and what do you love about it?
Sex work is truly the world’s oldest profession – not just because humans enjoy having sex, but because humans truly need connection. Sex work is the space in which connection, communication, and intimacy all unite to create a truly beautiful and meaningful experience.
I love getting to share intimacy with others, to be a listening and attentive ear that someone can truly be vulnerable with.
Tell us about how you and Caitlin Bell came up with the concept to give Raiders’ Quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo free sex for the rest of his life.
Due to its status as a prominent adult entertainment hub, sex workers are a fundamental part of Las Vegas, and our fortunes are inextricably linked to those of the city.
When Vegas is undergoing trials and tribulations, the area’s sex workers are adversely affected, but we thrive when the city is prospering. The arrival of the Raiders in Las Vegas was a significant victory for the city, as it opened up a plethora of tourism and revenue opportunities.
As sex workers, Caitlin and I felt compelled to celebrate the Raiders’ contribution to the city and to adjacent businesses such as the Chicken Ranch in Pahrump. When we learned of Jimmy G’s signing with the team, we knew that it was the ideal opportunity to publicly demonstrate our support.
What goals do you have for 2023?
2023 is an exciting year – I’m continuing to dedicate time towards sex work advocacy. I’ve already met with the supervisor of San Francisco to discuss her proposal for sex work legalization. My goal is to see further acceptance and mainstream acknowledgment for sex workers, and it certainly seems like society is trending in that direction.
