T-girl Brittany St. Jordan First to Debut on Grooby Network
YNOT – Many transsexual performers and models have found it frustrating to work with affiliate networks that don’t understand them or their fans. Even more frustrating is that lack of understanding leads to lack of profitability. To fill the gap, in May T-girl impresario Steven Grooby founded the Grooby Network. Backed by Grooby’s 15 years of experience in tranny porn, the network provides transsexual performers with the tools to create and market their own virtual homes.
The first site in the Grooby Network launched in mid-October.
BrittanyStJordan.com offers exclusive solo photo and video sets of “tattooed tranny of your shemale dreams” St. Jordan masturbating and using toys, along with hardcore scenes in which she performs with men and other transsexuals. Fans also can interact with her by commenting on her blog and participating in her forums.
“We set up our network to give transgender models an alternative to working with companies that produce solo sites, take 50 percent of the profit and give the model little or no ownership or creative identity,” Grooby said. “Our system means the models must work harder, but the site is all theirs. We guide and advise them, let them use our promotional outlets and affiliates, and provide servers, software, DMCA services, full customer support and billing strategies, but they ultimately remain in control of their website and all the content.
“Brittany’s been a fantastic model and performer on a number of our sites, and she put a hell of a lot of work into getting this site ready,” Grooby added. “We’re excited to help her on the next stage of her career.”
The Grooby Network provides server space, software, billing mechanisms, webmaster support, customer service for consumers, promotional assistance and the option to include the website in the GroobyBucks affiliate program. The program pays 50-percent recurring revenue share.
“It was an obvious choice for me to go with Grooby,” St. Jordan said. “They were the first company to work with me and have always supported my career.
“I designed all my own graphics, produced all the shoots and have had control of my site all the way,” she continued. “Why would I need to sign an exclusivity contract or give away 50 percent of the revenue, like some companies demand? I look forward to giving my fans what they want to see and being able to interact with them on a daily basis.”
Other independent models’ sites are in various stages of development within the Grooby Network. Grooby said he expects two to four more to launch before the end of the year.
