Survivors Report YP Jamaica a Success
NEGRIL, Jamaica – YP Jamaica came to a successful close on Sunday night, and many of the adult industry professionals who attended the casual gathering have returned home to report that the event was a complete success.“From the moment I landed on the island of Jamaica I knew I was in for a good time,” said Jim from AdultLegal.com. “Starting with the bus trip to Negril all the way to the farewell party.”
On Sunday, the final day of the gathering, participants began the day with a casual brunch at Selenas restaurant, courtesy of NetBilling. A local blues musician performed at the small, outdoor establishment while YP participants waited patiently for their food. In addition to traditional American-style breakfasts, some local flavors were offered that included pineapple pancakes.
Mitch and Sarah from NetBilling emailed their YP reaction to YNOT:
“When we started typing this it was way too long because we were individually mentioning all of the wonderful people we had the honor of spending time with this past weekend,” read the email from Mitch and Sarah. “The catamaran, poker nights, beach combing, jet skiing and golfing were all spectacular things to do. However, it really was not the activities or the beautiful beaches that really made this trip special. It was all of the webmasters that came without attitude or business in mind. Everyone just seemed to be there to have fun, and thanks to YNOT and all of our old and new industry friends, it will surely go down as one of our best trips ever. Love and respect!”
After the brunch on Sunday, the attention next turned to the three-hour catamaran cruise sponsored by LightspeedCash. The catamaran was stocked with an open bar, free pizza and great tunes. The boat stopped for about an hour at a picturesque spot where YP attendees were given the opportunity to swim in the ocean and participate in some acrobatic cliff jumping.
“Where else can I wake up in the morning and sunbathe, jetski and cliff jump in the afternoon, play poker in the evening, and party till dawn? Thank you YNOT for making the Jamaica show a truly memorable show for me,” said Zoe from Camz.com.
Following the cruise, YP participants flocked back over to Margaritaville, where HotLipsCash arranged for a closing night bonfire and weenie roast. S’mores were also on the menu.
“Some of the sponsored events and moments that stood out for me were the opening party and getting to see who was making the trip, getting on a wave runner for the first time, coming in third at the poker tournament and Jay coming in first, even though we both are not poker players,” said Jim. “The farewell bonfire and the Catamaran cruise was the best, but the best part of every YP I’ve attended though has been the people that attend, and just getting to know some of the best people that are in our industry, and being able to form new friendships as well as new business relationships.”
YNOT’s own LAJ, who together with Twinkley spent a lot of time planning YP Jamaica, said that all the effort was worth the rewards.
“Putting together YP Jamaica gave me a new outlook on stress,” joked LAJ. “Attending it gave me a new outlook on life. Yes, it was all worth it.”
