Supersizing the Back End
LAS VEGAS – After moving to a new backend that offers consumers more viewing, payment and interactivity options, a gay adult website built on the premise “bigger is better” re-launched this week.
StockyDudes.com — a site presenting exactly the kind of material its name implies — leverages a new content-management system developed by AdultSiteRunner. According to Brandon Ramm, owner of Stocky Dudes parent company PT Media LLC, the new platform won’t be released officially until sometime this fall, but the product’s parameters fit his company’s needs to a T.
“We understand that with the popularity of services such as Hulu and iTunes, consumers require more options in how they access digital content,” Ramm said. “We now offer the choice to have online access to our entire catalog for one monthly rate or download our content on a scene-by-scene basis. If you do both, you get a big discount.”
The new software integrates CCBill’s one-click payment system, allowing consumers to make additional purchases and upgrade memberships without re-entering their payment information.
“It’s literally as simple as one click to purchase more content or upgrade to a membership,” Ramm said.
In addition to a new payment protocol and more content options, the site also offers optimized interfaces for tablet and mobile devices and allows members to comment on individual scenes.
Webmasters may promote Stocky Dudes through the PHATCash affiliate program, which pays a 50-percent recurring revenue share.
