SugarDVD Now Streaming on Roku
YNOT – Roku’s internet-to-television streaming service has a new adult channel offering full-length adult movies, thanks to a deal with SugarDVD. All SugarDVD DVD rental plans now include unlimited streaming on the new SugarDVD Roku channel at no additional cost. New movies are added every month.
SugarDVD’s rental plans will continue to include free video-on-demand minutes for streaming movies on a computer screen, as well. For one price, customers have the option of receiving their adult entertainment on their desktops and laptops, on DVDs delivered through the mail or streamed directly to their TV sets.
“We changed up our programming team before we developed this project, and it has turned out great,” SugarDVD Chief Executive Officer Jax said. “We believe our DVD rental customers are going to love being able to stream movies to their TV in addition to renting them by mail and watching them on their computer. We will continue to focus on offering movies in whatever format our customers want them in.”
SugarDVD’s Roku channel offers several different movie categories including amateur, feature and all-girl. Each movie is available in two bit-rates: one for slow internet connections and another version designed to deliver high-definition content to users with high-speed connections.
Users can set up the channel with just a few steps, Jax said. Just visit the Roku site and add the SugarDVD channel to their set-top box. Then enter the code Roku provides into their account at SugarDVD.com. The SugarDVD channel will be available immediately.
Affiliates may benefit from the new Roku channel by referring new members to SugarDVD.com through the affiliate program SugarCash. The program pays 25 percent on all VOD purchases and DVD rentals or up to $31 per sign-up.
