Stunner Media Acquires Neostrata Ltd.
YNOT – Stunner Media has acquired all assets belonging to Neostrata Ltd., including websites and affiliate programs, the companies announced Wednesday. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed, although Stunner Chief Executive Officer Philippe St-Onge revealed the sale was worth “over seven figures.”
The Neostrata deal is said to be the biggest to date for Montreal-based Stunner, which in the past few years has acquired or signed deals to manage a number of other gay adult affiliate programs. Stunner’s portfolio includes the affiliate programs Stand Ahead, Boycrush Cash and IndieBucks as well as the membership site-affiliate program hybrid Phoenixxx.
The acquisition of Brisbane, Australia-based Neostrata — which itself has been on an acquisition binge for the past few years — adds the affiliate programs EmoProfits, HunkMoney, BritishBucks and LatinoBucks in addition to the online community GayWideWebmasters.com. The latter earned the 2012 Cybersocket Web Award for Best Webmaster Resource.
“Neostrata has a unique approach to creating content and provides a fresh take on adult entertainment by catering to its own niche markets,” said Stunner Affiliate and Marketing Manager Simon Soulières. “The acquisition allows us to target a customer segment and demographic that we were not fully reaching until now. Affiliates can still get Neostrata promo content by logging into their usual affiliate accounts.”
Stunner Media will retain two Neostrata employees, Dade Williams and Teaser, who will continue their roles at the Neostrata properties as they become involved with other Stunner assets, St-Onge said.
“Along with the acquisition of Neostrata Ltd.’s assets, we are also happy to announce that former Affiliate Manager Richard Neate will be rejoining the Stunner Media family to head-up EmoProfits and BritishBucks, where he started his career in 2008,” he added.
