YNOT – Fully functional stock photography service Adult Stock Photo is for sale.

Founded by adult industry veteran Mario B in 2010, the website boasts 7,000 images and what Mario B called an active community of 1,100 buyers and 300 sellers. Although the site has matured since its debut, Mario B said he believes plenty of growth potential remains, largely because the site hasn’t been promoted or advertised. In fact, he noted, although the images are adult, most of the site’s traffic is mainstream.

The site is low maintenance, Mario B noted, essentially managing itself except for upload approvals, which are handled quickly and easily through an administrative interface. The infrastructure will be part of the sale.

“I manage the site with very little effort, putting in only a few hours a week — between four and eight hours,” Mario B said. “The site has been targeted towards the micro-stock photo industry rather than adult, so there is a wide market to acquire. There is very little competition, and I’d say no other site matches our quality of content.”

Mario B said he is selling the site because the birth of a daughter has him contemplating an exit from the adult entertainment industry.
