SpankBang Rises to ASACP Title Sponsor Status
ASACP, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, is delighted to announce that SpankBang.com has upgraded its membership status to become ASACP’s newest Title Sponsor.
ASACP’s sponsors and members are among the industry’s most respected companies and serve as excellent examples of how corporate responsibility, ethical operation, and basic proactive measures help protect minors and other online viewers from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials.
SpankBang.com is an adult-oriented video “tube” site with a wide range of user-generated content (UGC) covering numerous niches. Offering free access to adult visitors, SpankBang helps secure its content from viewing by minors through the use of ASACP’s RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta-labeling system. In addition, a robust user content flagging and reporting system also helps ensure that minors and any illegal activity do not appear on the platform.
SpankBang satisfies visitors with a growing collection of trending models, trending videos, and more. The site also embraces independent content creators, marketing partners, and website and app developers who wish to share SpankBang’s videos on their platforms, helping to build a broader community of users.
“As a forward-looking adult platform, creating a safe and inclusive online space has been one of our paramount goals,” a company spokesperson revealed. “SpankBang has been a proud sponsor of ASACP for years, and we will continue to support the association’s humanitarian mission in the future.”
ASACP Executive Director Tim Henning said that the nonprofit association relies on the support it receives from companies such as SpankBang that are willing to take a leadership role in the fight to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented materials through proactive and protective action.
“With the holiday season now upon us, generosity is not only for the home but for the world at large, where companies can leverage their resources not only for their benefit but for the benefit of society as a whole,” Henning explained. “Such is the case for SpankBang, as it elevates its role in the online child protection arena by becoming an ASACP Title Sponsor.”
By taking an industry leadership role, ASACP sponsors such as SpankBang enable the association’s 25-year-long record of success by underwriting free child protection resources, including market-specific Best Practices and a comprehensive Code of Ethics for businesses, app publishers, and all operators of age-restricted websites.
Among ASACP’s many achievements are its globally recognized RTA labeling tool that helps prevent children’s access to adult-oriented webpages and mobile apps. At the same time, the association’s CP Reporting Tipline has earned global accolades for processing more than 1 million user reports and making a positive difference in online safety for the most innocent of youth.
“ASACP is thrilled to welcome SpankBang.com as our newest Title Sponsor,” Henning concluded. “We encourage other companies to step up and follow SpankBang’s lead in sponsoring the association and empowering its mission to protect the world’s children, simply because it’s the right thing to do.”
