MADRID, SPAIN – It likely wasn’t the sort of “training film” their superiors had in mind, but at least the trainees weren’t bored.On Monday, 120 Madrid police officers gathered to view what was supposed to be a training film; an operational study that was to include training on how to be promoted to sergeant.

Instead, the assembled officers were treated to footage from a hardcore pornographic film, according to statements issued Tuesday by Spanish police officials.

The training video, stored on and triggered by a computer, was apparently supplanted by the porn video by way of a Trojan Horse virus, according to an unnamed official from the regional justice and interior ministry quoted in the Associated Press.

“It was just bad luck that the virus activated right then,” said the official, whom the AP said could not be identified due to department rules.

According to the official, howls of laughter filled the auditorium when the porn video came on. The person operating the computer stopped the video and turned it back on several times, the unnamed official said, but each time the porn video came back on. Finally, the operator just shut down the computer altogether.
