Social Audio App MŌN to Host SXSW Events, Exhibit at Capital Factory House Startup Crawl
The Mon App is set to take part in South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference & Festival as a presenting exhibitor at its Capital Factory House Startup Crawl, March 11 in Austin, Texas.
To kick off the industry festivities, MŌN is hosting Sexual Wellness Week on its app, with celebrated speakers and brands to include Dr. Evan Goldstein (Future Method), Bryony Cole – Future of Sex, Rocio Pelayo – Hablemos Sex Tech, Headero app, Babeland, Lilly Sparks of afterglow.
MON and Hablemos Sex Tech will also host an in-person unofficial Happy Hour event, ‘Sex/Femme Tech Mix and Mingle’, in downtown Austin, alongside top industry brands, leaders and investors at The Well.
The company’s presence at the House, a ‘tech ecosystem’ for startups featuring educational seminars, speakers and networking opportunities for the industry’s most innovative minds, will serve to offer the event’s 17,000 selected attendees an introduction – and in-person demonstrations – of the App’s benefits, capabilities and easy-to-use functions.
Rocio Pelayo, a renowned tech strategist and founder of Hablemos Sextech, will also discuss the future of intimacy and relationships as a featured speaker at SXSW’s main in-person event panel ‘Will We Still Have Sex in the Future?’ on March 17.
“As SXSW welcomes its first in-person event in two years, we are so pleased to be included at Capital Factory’s Start Up Crawl,” said MŌN Founder/CEO Caleth Jones. “This exclusive space welcomes only a limited number of startups to join in extending professional opportunities to tech-forward brands, so it is an honor to have been chosen to exhibit with them this year.”
With more than 500,000 attendees expected to take part in SXSW’s ten-day (March 11-20) event this year, “this relatively smaller-scale and inviting setting with Capital Factory House is ideal to reach out and establish ourselves among our talented peers who are also establishing roots in this unique and amazing industry.”
