Social App Lets Models Record, Sell Videos from Mobile Phone
CHICAGO – An adult social-media and content-sharing space has developed an app that allows models to record videos on their mobile phones, then upload the results to their personal store on MyPornProfile.
Available free in both the iTunes and Google Play stores, the MPP app was designed for ease of use. A model merely records his or her video on the phone; enters a title, description and price in the app, and then clicks “upload.”
“No one else in the adult market offers an app like ours in both the iTunes and Google Play stores,” MyPornProfile owner and operator Sam Saturn. “Being able to record and sell video anywhere at any time is a real game changer. Our models don’t have to be tied down to a webcam or rely on expensive video cameras to record naughty videos. [High-definition] cameras in today’s smartphones have opened up this market and allow the girls to do it themselves.
“The possibilities are endless of where they can shoot,” he added. “They can record a POV video in the comfort of their own home or even in a public location.”
Models set their own video prices and keep 60 percent of revenues earned from video sales.
Saturn said more than 15,000 models and fans have joined the site since it launched in September 2011. Membership is free.
