Show and Sell Proves Fun Industry Swag Fest
TAMPA, FL — When the haze of socializing and swapping business cards fades, when the duffel bags and suitcases are unpacked, when the jet lag has subsided and the faces and various body parts in the photos have been identified – what will be left of the Cybernet Expo to cherish, enjoy, and trigger memories? Why, the swag, naturally!More than 20 tables hugged the walls of the Show and Sell room at the 10th anniversary Cybernet Expo show – and at each table sat or stood company representatives eager to extol the virtues of their business, as well as hand out corporate mementos ranging from practical to playful, intoxicating to delicious.
Whether it was civil rights aware plushies and notepad sets from the Free Speech Coalition, shots of tequila and branded shot glasses from The Best Porn, beverage snugs from attorney Eric M. Bernstein, or branded telescoping umbrellas from ChargebackResolution Corp., the conference exclusive event provided attendees with plenty of items custom designed to jog memories and stimulate future business.
In addition to a delicious 10th anniversary cake honoring the conference’s history, those who crowded the room were able to enjoy ice cream sandwiches from Adult Chamber that were even more fun to share then to devour on one’s own. Inflatable beach balls from Net Billing and soft footballs from Sago Networks provided drinkers and eaters with an excuse for exercise – while memory sticks from SexDateCash promised an elegant solution for those with less than stellar recall and writing so bad that even the colorful Clips4Sale and Epoch ink pens could not make them readable.
Those hoping for a bit of adult star gazing could hobnob with entertainment elder Dave Cummings at his own booth, busty brunette Angelica Sin at the Midnite Monkey booth, or petite alt bundle Joanna Angel as she talked shop with Monica from HotMovies.
And, of course, there were plenty of t-shirts and tank tops, sized to snug against the breasts of women and fit loosely on the chests of men – or vice versa, depending upon one’s personal fashion sense.
And for those adventurous few whose travels were likely to result in naked fun, whether alone or with others, there were vibrating bullets from the Stockroom and fluffy embroidered hand towels (as they say in polite company) from Badpuppy.
But mostly there was laughter, merriment, a wonderful sense of camaraderie – and a mutually shared desire to see business become anything but usual, unless “usual” is another word for profitable.
