‘Shameless Sex’ Podcast Announces Insta Contest for Prostate Awareness
Los Angeles, CA – “Shameless Sex” podcast hosts April Lampert and Amy Baldwin are celebrating Movember Prostate Awareness Month with the launch of a unique Instagram contest. The contest will run through November 19 and is available to adults of an gender over the age of eighteen.
“Listen to our November 12th ‘Shameless Sex’ podcast episode, then DM or email us an anonymous photo of yourself telling us something that you learned about prostate pleasure or health,” said Lampert.
“The photo must contain a mustache. It can be real or fake, including one drawn on your finger,” Lampert continued. “We will use these photos on our Instagram and stories to teach the public about prostate health and pleasure, so you all get to be a part of the education!”
Inspired by Charlie Glickman PhD and Aislinn Emirzian’s book The Ultimate Guide to Prostate Pleasure: Erotic Explorations For Men and Their Partners, the sex-ed photo campaign is aimed at highlighting issues related to men’s health and mindfulness about prostate and testicular cancer prevention.
“We love Prostate Awareness Month because it is an opportunity to de-stigmatize prostate play, as well as educate folks about prostate health,” added Lampert. “Other than skin cancer, prostate cancer is reported as the most common cancer among men.”
“Furthermore, some research suggests that regular stimulation of the prostate may reduce health risks as it increases circulation to the area, so this is the perfect opportunity to highlight the many benefits that can be had with more education and awareness about this powerhouse of pleasure.”
