Seymore Butts ‘How-To’ Book Set to Hit Shelves in November
SHERMAN OAKS, Calif. – Seymore Butts’ sexual how-to book for men, Rock Her World: The Sex Guide for the Modern Man, is scheduled to hit bookstores Nov. 12. Publisher Gotham Books, a division of Penguin, describes the 240-page hardcover tome with the arousing teaser, “From pick-up secrets to mind-blowing sex, the king of the climax nails the finer points of giving and receiving perfect pleasure.”According to Butts — who penned the book under his real name, Adam Glasser — Rock Her World was under construction for more than a year before Gotham signed him to a publishing contract in early 2008. Originally titled “Things Your Father Never Had the Balls to Tell You,” the prescriptive manual aspires to help readers duplicate not only the physical secrets Butts claims to have learned during his on-screen and off-screen conquest of more than 600 women (some of whom appeared in the more than 100 adult movies he directed and/or produced), but also the intricate mind games Butts argues will have any woman begging any man for his sexual attention.
“In his first book, this professional Casanova reveals the naked truth about getting laid, addressing the nitty-gritty questions that amateur sexperts never even thought to ask,” promotional copy for the book notes.
Rock Her World is divided into three sections: About You, About Her and About Sex. In the first, Butts discusses how to keep the male equipment in top shape, “sexercises” for improved performance, what he considers the truth about erectile dysfunction and other fundamental topics. The second section comprises a Butts-eye-view of every crevice of the female anatomy, including explanations for female orgasm and female ejaculation, and his opinions about what women really want in bed.
In the final section, Butts tours the territory of sex: From foreplay and oral sex to intercourse, all aspects are subject to Butts’ attempt at demystification. The details of contraception, sex toys, anal sex, spanking, the art of seduction and climax control are revealed alongside anecdotes from Butts’ career.
The book is replete with instructional and comic illustrations. The curious can take a look at those up-close and personal, as well as ask Butts to sign a copy, during a promotional appearance Nov. 18 at Book Soup in Los Angeles.
