Serial Entrepreneur Mike Kulich Strikes Again
LOS ANGELES – Adult industry veteran and serial entrepreneur Mike Kulich has leapt into another new venture in yet another corner of the industry. This time Kulich is taking on the crowded public relations game.
According to Kulich, Stunner PR will offer services to both talent and companies. He said the new agency grew organically from his promotional success with Monarchy Distribution, which he founded in 2010. In fewer than four years, Monarchy’s appearances in publications including The New York Post, New York Magazine, LA Weekly, The Huffington Post, Forbes, The Daily Dot and other media outlets have helped the company become a major adult industry player.
“PR for the adult industry has just come naturally to me, and of all the things I do on a daily basis in my company, that is by far my favorite,” Kulich said. “With the network I have built over the past decade, I am able to bring so many areas into one campaign.
“For a girl trying to get her name out there, I have a huge network of stores to do signings at, clubs to feature dance at, toy companies if her goal is to have a self branded line of novelties, important media relationships with both adult and mainstream outlets, and solid relationships with the majority of the adult studios and directors,” he added.
Kulich began his adult industry career in 2004 with a sales job at distributor IVD. Four years later, he left to found DVD Makers, a popular replicator of adult DVDs. The experience at both companies left him with a desire to address what he believed was an underserved industry segment: talent who self-produced content. Monarchy arose with the goal of connecting those folks with traditional DVD and broadcast outlets.
Since the formation of Monarchy in 2010, the company has received more than 35 industry award nominations.
Stunner has no website as yet, but Kulich may be contacted by email or via Twitter.
