SegPay, Paxum Partner to Offer New Payment Option
YNOT – Internet payment services provider SegPay and Paxum have joined forces to offer SegPay clients access to Paxum’s global e-wallet services. SegPay is the first IPSP to offer Paxum’s popular technology, and the companies believe the alliance will expand the reach of both entities.
According to SegPay President and Chief Executive Officer Cathy Beardsley, one of the primary benefits her company sees in the partnership is an ability to reduce costs for affiliate programs that deal with an international sales force. Getting payments to international webmasters can be expensive, Beardsley observed, but Paxum offers an inexpensive and convenient alternative to wire transfers and checks.
“International webmasters and others in the industry have long needed a low-cost way to receive payments,” Beardsley said. “SegPay is excited to offer Paxum. This partnership provides more options and a richer experience for our customers.”
Paxum offers a secure e-wallet payment service with multiple withdrawal options. The MasterCard-backed Paxum card provides a fast payroll solution with easy, instant access to payments. It has become a popular way for webmasters and their affiliates to receive funds, especially when one or more of the parties is located outside the U.S.
Benefits of interest to SegPay clients include:
- Paxum’s pre-paid cards can be used at any ATM or business where MasterCard is accepted.
- Paxum cards are compliant with U.S. federal Know Your Customer rules.
- Paxum offers peer-to-peer funds transfers between clients.
- Low usage and funds-receipt fees.
“By partnering with Paxum, SegPay showcases its focus on customer service with reliable, safe and convenient offerings,” Beardsley said.
